Artist’s Description of the original artwork
Title: Café Shanghai Zum Zum Zum
Oil on canvas / Size 120×150cm / Year 2006
Inspiration for this painting came from a painting I saw in Germany called Café Deutschland. The theme was to try and capture the spirit of the time (2005-2006), I was fascinated by how people was dressed and discussed matters and the political landscape. This painting was exhibited in the Shanghai Art Museum in 2007.
It was bought by a German collector, and I think it is now in Portugal.
