Title: Shanghai Bar

Oil on canvas / Size 210×210mm / Year 2003

This painting is from a small study in oils for a series of works that I did where I was just painting the nightlife of Shanghai, bars, and restaurants etc – representing that part of my living in Shanghai. Things that I saw and wanted to make a record of.

This series was exhibited at the Yaochao Gallery (Yard Gallery).
